MG MGF Technical - Dial brightness

Ok I know this isnt very technical but:

Since I had my VVC valeted yesterday the dials seem to be very very dim when the lights are on. Can I vary teh brightness, and if yes, wheres the switch because I cant see one!!!!!!

There should be a roll switch to the left of the steering wheel right next to the steering column..
