MG MGF Technical - Driving lights?
Dear All Does anyone know who make the fog light incerts for the MGF fog lights and if they make a driving light that could replace the fog light. Here in Australia we don't always get that much fog but we have a lot of great long roads to drive on in the day and night. Thanks |

Mounting a driving lamp in this position will be quite restrictive in terms of long range lighting improvement. It is quite simply too close to the road and so setting the lamp will be ultra sensitive and ultra critical. I also have doubts as to the actaul long range performance of the commonly available small lamps from the likes of Ring, Cibie etc. I am sure that very high performance lamps will be available that do provide a worth wile bonus, but I would expect these to cost in the region of 100 to 150 ukp per unit. In the meantime the likes of Demon Tweeks have a good selection of lamps. I know they have e-mail at sales@demon-tweeks.co.uk but am unsure whether this has expanded to a web site. Rog |

Mike Satur has a new front bumper (still in development stage) which will have driving lights. The fitting of those two are a little higher than the positioning of the fogies. I can mail a picture if you want... |

Erik If you can e-mail a photo of the new bumper and lights I would be most grateful. Many thanks Kym |
