MG MGF Technical - Finding K&N induction pipes
I'm eagerly awaiting delivery of a secondhand K&N 57i kit to fit to my '96 VVC. Unfortunately, the kit is from a Lotus Elise and therefore doesn't include the cold air induction pipes. :( Can anyone suggest where to get hold of some tubing to do the job (ideally to fit in one of Tom Randell's brackets)? In the archives people have said Demon Tweaks but I can't find any tubing on their website. Guess I'd need 70mm, but how much of it will I need? How about this: http://shop.carnoisseur.com/shop/products/Induction/Green/GreenFlexiAlloyTube/viewProductCollection Cheers, Tim. |

Halfords do it. It's the expandable aluminium type. I've got it on mine and it works very well. Only about £3 for a decent length (Said the actress to the bishop!) |

Thanks, Bob. How much of it is needed for the double run used in the proper kit? Cheers, Tim. |

Probably two packs. I've got mine in a sealed system so I ony needed one length. |

And was it 70mm diameter? Thanks again! Tim. |

You need about 80 cm in fully extended length Tim. I'm sure that Halfrauds do some ducting that is 70mm in diameter... |

Thanks, guys. Will have a look in Halfords but suspect I may have to get them to order in. Despte being a superstore they never seem to have anything I want!! Cheers, Tim. |

Try moto-build 0208-893-4553 and no, I have no connection with the company. Simon |
