MG MGF Technical - First time buyer of a TF

Hi everyone,

I am usually on the TD/TF site but I have been looking for another project and maybe a TF will be the one. Can anybody advise me what to look for when buying a TF not wanting to spend a huge amount of money.

Being no stranger to restoration having rebuilt a 54 mgtf a 66 Jag E Type and a 51MGTD which I still have mechanical issues are not a problem for me but I want to avoid body/paint if I can.

All advice will be welcomed.
