MG MGF Technical - How clean are your......
Plastic bits? As you may well have gathered, our F has the cream / walnut interior & the plastic is begnning to look increasingly grubby, therefore I was wondering what products others with similar pale interiors use to clean them? Cheers, Sally |

Try Autoglym - they do an interior plastic shampoo/cleaner that ought to do the job. The non-black MG interiors do look great, but boy, am I happy that mine's black :o) |

Also give those Windowlene wipes a go, they work quite well. Steve |

Warm, slightly soapy water and a clean J cloth. Then lots of clean water to rinse off the soap. I worry about all these plastic cleaners - used one on another car and it left a very nasty shiny finish on the plastic - made the plastic look even cheaper! Cheers Patrick PS Hey, who'se a New Man, giving housewifery instructions to a woman! |

Patrick, I hope that SWMBO doesn't get to hear about this!! Hope I don't spill the beans whilst in my cups. |

My 98 F has the cream leather int. (heritage?) I probably didn't choose the best car to suit my lifestyle as I have 3 horses so you can imagine how hard it is to keep clean. I've only been driving the car 3 weeks and managed to keep it looking good but the steering wheel is the worst bit, need cleaning all the time. I use 'Simoniz Dri Cleen' it's really easy to use, plus you can use it on leather, plastics, fabric etc. I think I bought it from Halfords. |
