MG MGF Technical - K&N 57i Filters
Not being technically minded (and of the female persuasion), not that they go together I might add!! Could anyone tell me if these filters are easy to fit to an MGF. Thanks |

All pretty straight forward though you do need to roll around on the floor to fit the cold air induction tubes below the car. I have details on how to gain access to the engine on my website and although I don't go as far as explaining how to fit the K&N my car is fitted with one (a K&N) if you want to take a peek. TBQH, it does not get much harder to fit the filter as it does to get to the engin in the first place - check out my little engine access article, should give you some idea of what you need to do.... http://www.dotcomoff.demon.co.uk Also home of the F'ers Gallery, MG Dealer Guide and forthcoming MGF Tech FAQ. |

Thought it would be a really easy job. I fitted mine without removing boot access cover. Should have read the instructions. Otherwise access is really bad, and it ended up taking me about 2 hours and lots of swearing and grazed knuckles |

Pretty straight forward to fit filters to an MGF- instructions and some of the filter options are listed on the filter page- url below: http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/robmidgleybell/filter.htm HTH Rob http://go.to/mgfgallery |
