MG MGF Technical - K&N air filter air hoses
Hi Guys, Just a quick question. I’ve gone for the cheaper Elise filter kit and was wondering what type of air hoses I need to get, rubber or metal. Also what diameter would be the best? Cheers Mogs |

Suitable corrogated aluminium tube is available from Halfords Mogs. You'll need two, 40cm long. I can't recall what the diameter of the official K&N ducts are: about 40-50mm? |

The offical K&N duct are approx 60-65 mm (outside diameter) I know this as I designed the bracket to locate them and hold them in place. Tom |

Mogs, Would you be interested in joining the Aberdeen MG Owner's Club? We are a very informal bunch with w wide range of individuals and cars of all ages. However, I'm the only F owner - so could do with some company. We organise a cracking rally at the Grampian Transport Museum in Alford every year - it's on August the 15th this year. If you e-mail me, I can keep you informed of our events. Cheers! Sam |
