MG MGF Technical - K&N air filter air hoses
Just a quick question. Iíve gone for the cheaper Elise filter kit and was wondering what type of air hoses I need to get, rubber or metal. Also what diameter would be the best?
Suitable corrogated aluminium tube is available from Halfords Mogs. You'll need two, 40cm long. I can't recall what the diameter of the official K&N ducts are: about 40-50mm?
The offical K&N duct are approx 60-65 mm (outside diameter) I know this as I designed the bracket to locate them and hold them in place.
Mogs i have 2 ducts you can have i just got rid of my K&N filter for £5 only done 10,000 miles with it tex me on 07940-545046 im in leeds at mo but will be going to london at the end of the week

Would you be interested in joining the Aberdeen MG Owner's Club?
We are a very informal bunch with w wide range of individuals and cars of all ages.
However, I'm the only F owner - so could do with some company.
We organise a cracking rally at the Grampian Transport Museum in Alford every year - it's on August the 15th this year.
If you e-mail me, I can keep you informed of our events.
