MG MGF Technical - K&N Filter for the TF
OK this might be a stupid question but what the hell. Will the same K&N filter we use on the F fit on the TF? Adrian and Bucket in Germany burning up the Autobahn |

But... The TF (from what i've seen of a TF 135 anyway) uses the same air filter / throttle body arrangement as the Trophy 160 and this is where a large part of the extra 15 or so Ps comes from. By switching to a K+N 57i, you are unlikely to see any tangible gains IMO as you are substituting one 15 or so Ps induction arrangement for another. A K+N (or similar) panel filter may be a better idea as you retain the Trophy induction route, but gain a more freely flowing filter. All theory at the moment. SF |

Hi, is a part number for a fitting panel filter already known ? I think on the larger panel though. Same as Trophy 160 and late MK2 MGF. >Adrian and Bucket in Germany burning up the Autobahn Mate, see for speed cameras. They got me flashed in last month heavy on a company ride on a motorway (A4). One month 'walking' soon :( Dieter |
