MG MGF Technical - Knock knock
Im about to book my MGF VVC in at the local dealer, but can anyone lesson my worrys, looking through the engine bay i can see what looks like a heat resistent material flapping aroung above the K&N air filter, just obstructing the air inlet pipes, where should this material be attached. Also when the car is at an idle i hear a very gentle knocking from what seems to come from the front left of the car, also when i pull off slowly a hear a quite clunk/knock. Cheers for any info... |

sorry, that gentle knocking comes from the front right not the left |

Alright col, firstly the trim hanging down is the heat resistant sound proofing for the engine cover and is very easy to re-stick. as for the noise at idle is it a vvc that you have got? and for the noise on pull away where does it sound like is's comming from? Dave |
