MG MGF Technical - MG-TF foglamps - fitting

I just bought some new fog lamps for my MG-TF. In the box was a slip of paper advising,
"Warning: For fitting instructions refer to technical bulletin number
B023/02"

The place I got them from haven't been much help so far.

Anyone got any ideas where I can find technical bulletin number B023/02?

thanks

we've just had a set of fog lights fitted to our TF. In the "kit" was the dashboard switch, the wiring loom and the lights. The front bumper has to come off to be able to screw the fog to the inside of the bumper and to route the wiring from the front of the car up through the bulkhead and to the switch. It took the garage 3 hours to do.

Mark, try contacting one of the mg specialists to see if they know more about this bulletin.

I fitted fog lights to my daughters TF over christmas. I bought everything from my local dealer Clarke's of Bromsgrove and they also supplied a copy of the service bullitin £ 125 the lot. The instructions say to remove front bumper, but I didn't and the job only took just over an hour. You will need the instructions 'cause some of the wiring to the relay is tricky.

I wonder as well what could be of interest in B023/02 ;)
The former front fog kits had a full instruction booklet. (see link below for MY2000)
Now there isn't a kit for the TF anymore and not this instructions.

Can anyone please confirm that B023/02 talks about the same terms mentioned in the MY2000 front fog kit ?
I mean the terms about the wiring to the MFU and options for the switch assy upgrade when all places in the dash are engaged.

If so, then forget B023/02. I'll upload the MY200 instructions then.

Nobody will get the idea asking for cut holes templates for mgtf I think ;)
This is in the MY2000 instructions.

Dieter to the rescue!!Thanks for that as I have mislaid my copy..only mod for TF is that no hole is required ,put the drill down, grommet to remove and new grommet is attached to the loom.

That PDF will be very useful. Everything looks the same except I don't have to cut any holes!

Thanks Dieter.

Foglamps fitted. Easy job. Not sure what that liitle wire you have to insert into the multiplug on the fuse box actually does though...

:o)

>Not sure what that liitle wire you have to insert into the multiplug on the fuse box actually does though...

An input telling the multifunction unit (MFU) 'when are the fog lights off'
MFU logic knows about the status of headlights and light switches.
Very confusing, though connect the wire and forget it.

<or spend for charity or what :> Mmmm how about beer fund for treffeners LOL
