MG MGF Technical - MGF Hydrogas Supension Pump
Can any one give me detailes on how to make my own hydrogas supension pump? |

Yes we used to make our own years ago for metro suspension which is identical Get a basic master cylinder from a Mini or something like. them make a lever that can push the piston rod of the master cylinder in and out. Simply then connect a pipe from the outlet of the master cylinder to a metal tyre connector that will screw onto the fitting on the HG unit. This does not want to press the little valve in the unit open otherwise the fluid and pressure will escape. Then fill the master cylinder with fluid and pump. The pump pressure will overcome the valve and pressurize the suspension and the valve will close to lock the pressure in Just make sure you keep the MC res full. After you use this kind of device you will quickly find many ways to modify it and improve it. |
