MG MGF Technical - Miltek exhaust fitting??

Just bought a Miltek exhaust, the one with both tailpipes coming out the centre. As i'm in the process of doing the HG i thought i would have a go at fitting it myself, does anyone have any experience or tips on doing this? Do i have to cut some of the bumper and heatshield to make it fit?

Cheers

Just fitted the same bit of kit.
You'll need to reverse the mounting brackets that hold the Heat shield in place and chop a few inches off the end of the heat shield.

Mine seems to make the bumper a little warm - I think exhaust gasses swirl around the rear of the car.

How did you get on?

Well I managed to get the old exhaust off but unfortunately the cat decided to spill its contents all over the drive and i noticed my left rear tyre was split as well!!! So £250 for a new cat, £140 for two new Avon zv3s and a telling off from the missus for my colourful language :-)

Its all back together now, sounds 100% better and now actually drives like a sports car.

I bought a couple of chrome heat deflectors as well from Halfrauds for a fiver each to put on the bumper where the exhaust pipes poke through, seems to stop the bumper melting!!

Just got to source a rover 820 airbox to enclose the K&N and i think that will do for this summer or whats left of it.

Thanks for the advice Russell
