MG MGF Technical - Misting head lamps

I've just noticed some condensation on the inside of both headlamps. Are the headlamps on the MGF sealed units or is this normal?
Thanks
Praveen

They're not sealed units. The glass front is held onto the reflector by stainless steel clips around the edge; about 5 I think. In between the glass and the reflector is a soft(ish) rubber gasket which should seal the two halves and keep out the moisture. Sounds as if your problem may lie here. You have to remove the front bumper/valance to gain full access to the lights but this is not a major job. Just need someone to help hold it to stop it falling on the ground when removing the securing bolts.

The car is still under the manufacturers warranty, before I go back to the dealer, is condensation on the lens something to be expected or is it something I could get the garage to repair under the warranty?
Thanks
Praveen

Definitely - it ain't wear and tear!
