MG MGF Technical - mmm 820 Throttle Bodies??

Just seen a old friend at a wedding using wedding cars tunbridge wells and he's an elise owner, he said that the throttle body from a Rover 820 is the same as a 52mm throttle body.

is this true??

if so mr scrappie here I come!

While you are there can you get me an airbox of 820 as well? :D

I read a thread on the Lotus section recently about this and some time ago I also heard this rumoured. However, I checked out a Rover 820 and it was nothing like the Trophy body. Also the Lotus thread came to this conclusion.

That was my impression too Bruce when I enquired about the 820 TB... but do get the airbox! ;o)
