Fitting poly bushes is easy if you have an engineer's vice to squeeze it in and apply loads of silicone grease first. Cleaning up the eye helps as well.

I found the hard part to be getting off the old shockers.

cheers chris is vasline ok to use on the old bushes
cheers mate, spoke to a guy on on the phone from techspeed he said to use fairyliquid . what do you say to that? thats from techspeed

going to have a go over the weekend
what tools do i need sockets
etc ?
Darren Jeffery

Tools, from Tim's instructions mentioned above:

* 1 x Mole grip or similar
* 1 x 14mm deep socket and extension piece or flat Ratchet spanner as shown
* 1 x large adjustable wrench
* 2 x pair of hands
* 1 x 10mm socket
* Emery paper/wire brush
* 1 x Vice

Silicone grease is permanent so it not only help you fit the bushes, it stops squeeking when they are on the car. Washing up liquid will dry up so will not avoid problems later and vaseline also dries over the years. Personally I'd stick to silicone grease as the permanent long-term fix.
