MG MGF Technical - spark plug colour
Hi, Yesterday I was checking the sparkplugs because of the lack of power of my VVC (thread K&N in fog). I thought that the plugs should have a light-brownish colour, but my plugs had a sort of yellowish-green colour, like sulpher. Is this normal? The last two months I'm driving with Shell Pura instead of Euro 95 petrol, could this be the reason for the different colour? I don't know if you guy's know Shell Pura in Britain but here in Holland it's a sort of "cleaner" petrol, it makes the engine run smoother, with less pollution. Maybe it's named different overthere. A question for Roger P. maybe? Arend |
