Check connectors below the seats for the seat belt tensioner. If OK and still worries, check the rotary coupler behind the steering wheel. Lots of info in the archive about both items. Take care and disconnect the battery for 20 minutes before starting inspections at the SRS to let discharge the electronics. See as well on the internet http://www.mgfcar.de/srs_system/index.htm HTH Dieter |

I can second what Dieter has said. I've had mine come one twice now and it was the connector under the drivers seat. I couldn't get it apart but squirted it with WD40 and gave it a good wiggle which seemed to do the trick. The porblem seems to arrise when the seat is moved backwards and forwards. Will have to get a taller wife. Don't forget to disconnect the battery and wait half an hour so you dont trigger the explosive seat belt pre-tensioners. |
