MG MGF Technical - Sump plug and torque

What type of plug has the 'F' and what shold it be torqued to after an oil change?

I can't remember what the plug is made from but the sump and the washer are aluminum, so there is no need to tighten too much. The manual says 25Nm.

Spyros,
Did you replace the washer? What type of plug is it (hexagonal bolt, allen bolt, spline, other wierd shape?)

The plug is normal hexagonal bolt- 15mm if I remember correctly. Generally I replace the washer but I've reused the old one once and I had no sealing problems. It does get a bit compressed though as it is very soft aluminum and I wouldn't reuse it more than once. They are very cheap (few pence) from Rover, part number ALU1403L.
