MG MGF Technical - sun visor
I think my sun visor is broken, it is just hanging down a bit limp and will not stay turned up. How can I repair it? |
Robert (Bob) Midget Turbo |
Hi Bob Which side as I have spares? |

Thanks Jeff My problem was with the passenger side, since posting I have found a spring that wedges inside the visor pivot. I have now refitted this and the sun visor now functions correctly. The spring however is held in place by a plastic cover that I don't have but might not need. I am going to France in it later this year and hopefully it will stay repaired until then so I will hold my breath if you would be kind enough to hold onto the nearside visor please. |

Righto Bob Funny you should say that, i'm going to France the same time as you in an mgtf. I think a convoy should be in order. Won't be at the natter wednesday as i'm working in London but will bring to H&J if I remember it, if not will save it for you. Cheers |

JR I'm missing the foldout flap on the driver's side of my TF, if you have one of these spare I gladly exchange it for some beer tokens. There seems to be a number of passenger ones on ebay but few if any driver side. Bob |

Hi If its the plastic flap with 2 prongs on it that folds out you need RA Davies. The nearside and offside are the same just turned the other way round. Jeff |

Jeff I had a feeling that may be the case and had intended to check it this weekend, you've saved me the task. I'll look out for one in the right colour, black/dark grey incidentally if theres anyone out there wishing to exchange one for some beer tokens. Bob |
