MG MGF Technical - Supplier for Window Regulator

Hi All

My LHS window regulator is fubar. The part number is CUH 000410. MG F Centre have second hand units, but are not prepared to ship to Brightest Africa.

Can anybody recommend a supplier, preferably for a new part? The local agent are asking an exorbitant amount of money...so much so that it is almost worth getting on a plane to the UK, nipping off to MG F Centre and then coming home.

Also, does anybody know whether this is a problem that was rectified?

Alternatively, is there a way of fixing the existing unit? The window motor is whirring away, but the window remains resolutely down.

Either the outer gear is worn. (Almost going that way)
or the gear bracket is bent.

The only option for worn gear is a second hand motor or a complete assy.

Btw. better write it CUH000410 without blank :)
Try a Google search with CUH000410 or CUH 000410 and you will see what I mean.
