MG MGF Technical - Suspension

How often do you need to pump up the suspension? I have a 2000 F and had the suspension pumped up by B&G in September. Now it needs doing again. I can't see any sign of 'green stuff' under the car but maybe I should look more carefully.
How difficult (and expensive) is it to replace the units?

There shouldn't be any need to replace any of the hydragas units assuming that the ride height is equal on both sides of the car. Statistically very unlikely for both sides to fail at the same time!

Long-term settling of the suspension can occur. Might be a case of re-pumping the suspension again with a local garage (which, if they follow the rule of thirds - see http://www.mgf.ultimatemg.com/howto_lower.htm#with should proceed without problem) - and this shouldn't cost you too much dosh (and save you the return trip to Baldock)
