MG MGF Technical - Suspension for TF160

I've had my 2002 TF 160 from new and I've always been a little disappointed with the rather lumpy ride. Sometime ago I tried the revised springs - the ride was improved but the car was lowered causing groundings when going over the too-numerous-to-count speed bumps. I have seen in this months Emg spares catalogue that there are a few options to replace the springs/dampers. I called MGOC and although they are offering the parts they didn't have a great deal of information. Does anybody know anything about this? Thanks in advance.
