MG MGF Technical - TF - Fitting Fog Lights
Chaps, The Parts Manager at the garage has just rung to say the fog lights I ordered for my TF 135 have arrived, so will be picking them up over the weekend. He says they don't come with fitting instructions. Has anyone out there fitted fog lamps to their TF, and if so, could you tell me how to do this? I am naively supposing that the wiring is all in place in the loom -is this right? I'm reasonably handy at the DIY, but I would greatly appreciate any advice. Thanks in advance, AB |

Dear Adrian, I'll send you an PDF-File with the fitting instructions. Rgds Marco |

Marco, Instructions received - many thanks. This is particularly helpful since apparently the TF foglights do not come as a complete kit - there are a number of separate items to order - your instructions will also help me to see that I have all the bits I need. The TF bumper is different from the MGF - it has the apertures for the lights moulded into it - but I presume the attachments to the bodywork and the wiring are all going to be the same. Has anyone out there fitted these to a TF? Thanks, AB |

Dear Adrian, it is very easy to install the fog lights into the TF bumper, without removing the front bumper. Only press the plastic cover from the innerside out and plug them in and fix it with screws. Then you only have to wire it to the innerside. Only follow the MY_2000 instructions, this are the same steps as for the TF. BTW I had ordered my TF fog lights as an complete Kit from Mike Satur. Rgds Marco |
