MG MGF Technical - Thief prevention in CZ

I'm just about to take my MG F to Prague for a few days.

I've heard that Prague has a high car crime rate (although probably a fraction of what London's is!) and obviously the car has an imobilisor and alarm. Under previous ownership the car was stolen in the UK, so the security devices must have been gotten round some how.

My question is, can I imobilise the car further by removing something either electrical or mechanical within easy reach? e.g. On older cars, whipping the HT coil lead out did the trick .

a little, but not great.

in the boot access to the engien on the far left side is a small oblong box with a rubber button, a few quick taps with a $solid_thing on the side will stop the fuel pump running, to start the fuel pump again you press the rubber button.

Looking at the engine from the access panel, there is a sensor which has a blue plug, it is right down the engine (level with the crank) and pointing at the flywheel, unplugging this will prevent the engine starting.
