MG MGF Technical - Tracking
Had the tracking adjusted today in accordance with Mike Saturs specs ... result is fronts on 0 deg 5 mins and rears on -0 degs 5 mins. Initial impressions are steering feels heavier and thats about it so far I haven't driven enuff under the new specs to pass a thorough judgement yet. I will be checking tyre wear very carefully considering I have never had such probs in the past (when tracking was set within Rover specs). Incidentally before the change the tracking was ... 0 deg 02 min left front -0 deg 7 min right front 0 deg 12 min left rear 0 deg 17 min right rear Also picked up the K&N filter service kit. So I'll be doing some spring cleaning over Easter ... will let u know how that turns out later ... By the way the first thing the guyz at Feltham Tyre Centre said when I put forward the new specs was "so been on the Internet again have we ... everytime an *F* owner pulls in here they think they are tracking experts ..." They've got use to doing this now. Gaz P15VVC |
