MG MGF Technical - Undercarredge placment of cold air induction
What is the best place to fit the K&N pipes under my car? Right now the scrape against every damn bump in the road. Adrian |

Adrian, The best thing to do is make up a bracket which holds the induction pipes in place, facing towards the front of the car. Tom Randell has 10 possibly 9 now (see MGF General Thread on K&N Bracket)for sale which cost £10 but if you wanted one you would need to add overseas postage of course. You could email Tom at Thomas.Randell@sanmina-sci.com and ask him for advice or a drawing which you could copy to make up your own bracket. I have had one fitted for a year now with no major problems. I believe there are some pictures somewhere of Tom's bracket. Guys anyone got the pics??? |
