MG MGF Technical - upgraded head gasket


Hi guys ,
I have a 2004 mgtf 135 bhp.
I understand that the upgraded head gasket was introduced about this time. Can i tell from the vin if mine has the upgraded gasket ? Does anybody know exactly when they were introduced , at what vin.
Would appreciate any info .
