MG MGF Technical - VVC 140 BHP to Trophy 160 BHP
Apart from the obvious answer ("20 BHP") what is the difference between the 'standard' VVC 140 BHP engine and the Trophy 160 BHP version? Cams? Cheers, DC |

exhaust and air filter have a fair amount to do with it |

The differences are as follows 52mm TB Extra machining to the head around the valve seat inserts to improve low and mid lift flow. Recalibrated ECU Higher CR by dint of taller pistons Dave |

Many thanks Dave. I thought the exhaust/air filter route seemed a bit simplistic. Cheers, DC |

So is the air filter the same on the Trophy as on the standard F then? |
