MG MGF Technical - Windscreen Wiper help required

My wiper linkage failed some weeks ago and as I was unable to buy a replacement linkage in Australia ( Quote from Zagame the local mgf service and parts supplier was A$550 and 10-12 weeks ex UK) I ordered an upgraded linkage from the MGF centre, which is a huge improvement in quality compared to the Rubbish the MGR fitted originally.

My problem is that the instructions with the new linkage say to measure the original linkage and adjust the new short linkage to match. My temporary repair is currently at the wrong length so I have no reference.

Does anybody have the centre to centre dimension for the short linkage please?
