They have my "dream boat" on there also 55 CC Cobra.
If I could just figure out a way to put a T-hitch on the TF.....

Purists would object to the wrong dash, the chromed headlight brackets, the upside-down license plate light, chrome grille slats, etc. But in an auction, you may well be right, where paint and shine sell for more than originality. I don't think I would pay more than $12,000 on the street.

Dave - my '53 TD came with a trailer hitch, and the PO told me he regularly used to pull a small trailer behind! It was his only car from 1959 to 1979, when an axle shaft broke for the third time, and he put it into storage.

Wonder how the wood is? Pretty scummy looking motor. The black interior and chrome dash panel don't help its case either. I would think $15K may be high , but who knows at auction.

I'd have to say $26,000. A nice summer day in Monterey will make it so attractive. May be a good excuse for a weekend trip with the wife.
