MG TD TF 1500 - 60 and still going strong
My TD, 4139 turned 60 yesterday. I have owned it for 37 of those years. One full restoration of the body (needs it again), 2 rebuilds and a replacement engine, change of gears in the diff, rebuild of the transmission and it is still giving me all the enjoyment in the world. And No, that is not me in the picture. That is my daughter at her wedding using wedding cars sevenoaks. |

Congratulations Bruce. That is a milestone to be recognized. You can get pretty familiar with the car, after having it around for that length of time. The longer the better "eh". George |

George. Absolutely. When I think that I came close to selling it twice in the earlier years I had it, I am just counting my lucky stars that I did not. I really like driving my MGB. It has the feel of a more modern car, but for pure enjoyment, nothing beats a nice curvey road on a sunny day with the top down in the TD. Nothing also beats all the nice comments it brings when I drive it. But then you know that feeling. Bruce |

Hey Bruce, lookin' good. I'm in the same boat as you, I thought a couple of times of selling my TD but glad I didn't. You mentioned you've owned yours for 37 years so I had to get the calculator out and check and I've had mine 45 years. How time flies.
