MG TD TF 1500 - Another Remote MC Reservoir

What are the thoughts of an alternative design for a remoter master cylinder reservoir. Instead of replacing the drain plug with a banjo, how about sealing vent hole on filler plug and tapping a stem through the cap then using the the feed tube and an open vent remote reservoir in the engine compartment. Would seem to be a lot easier than removing and replacing the MC

Declan Burns makes a kit that gives you a new lid, you attach the hose to the connection on the lid.

No need to remove anything except the lid, includes clips to route the hose.

Easy install, works well, lasts a long time.

Have to agree with you there, plus he is helpful

Next on my shopping list is to update the clutch rods/lever.

But, I have enough winter projects for right now.
