MG TD TF 1500 - Auxiliary light wire
Ive been trying to find where the red / yellow wire that leaves the A switch leaves the wire bundle on the left side of the car. I can see it enter the bundle but when I look under front wing I only see wire go to the turn signal and head light. There were no aux lights on the car when I bought it so I'm installing a pair. Plan to use a relay and fuse. |

I think you will find it tightly bundled up and tied to your steering rack. |

Sorry for the poor quality picture. The red/yellow wire for fog/driving lights on our car (before restoration and rewiring) was carefully coiled and clamped to the passenger side of the frame near the steering rack. |

Whoa, I see there is a thread about fog lights in a TD earlier. Would the red /yellow wire be buried in the same place on my TF? Whe I pulled the Aux switch someone had disconnected two wires. One is the red / yellow and the other no matter what I turn on I have no power to it? My plan is to pick up power off the panel switch and run the lights from a relay activated by the aux switch But I can' find the wire in the front off the car! |

On my harness it ends with the headlight/parking lights on the right hand side where the connections are made for the head light/ parking light pig tails. From that point you will have to run the power and ground to the aux lights. |

The #42 Red/Yellow wire exits on the right side of the front harness for both LHD and RHD cars.
