MG TD TF 1500 - Blankevoort MG special
A few years ago I posted a thread under "MG XPAG special" and reported, that I'd found the "Blankevoort Special" a one off Dutch racer from 1954, that I intended to restore completely to its former glory.
Many of you showed enthusiastic interest and asked to me to be informed on the progress. I can tell you, that I nearly had to rebuild the car completely, but also that it runs now, and at the moment the (alu) body is being restored and put back in the chassis Please find footage on youtube under "Blankevoort MG" Erik van Hardeveld |

A cross-flow head on an XPAG?? Where did that come from? Gord Clark Rockburn, Qué. |

Looks like a Mazda CX-5 rebadge. Cheers Gary 79 MGB |

It's sounding like a fuel blockage is not your problem but, FWIW, the SU fuel pump filter is in the back of the bump and is accessed by a big brass bolt at the bottom of the pump. Jud |

Hello Gord, Yes, it is a crossflow head! I've written about that before, and also have one on my TA-Q, combined with a frontmounted Volumex supercharger. Erik |

Oops, I meant to post that on L D Kanaster's thread. Jud |
