MG TD TF 1500 - Born on th 14th of August

We took old TF 6688 out for its 53 rd birthday run last night. If you have not heard about the phenomena of the "Woodward Avenue Dream Cruise" its thousands of old cars cruising several miles of Michigan first major highway, M-1.
Not to be out done by 500 hp muscle cars we cruised with our 52 hp, which was just fine as the speed limit was down to about 5 mph, which is what a mgtf can do at idle in first gear.
Several local members met at a local ice cream parlour with the Thunderbird club for refreshments.
Great evening run and great car and people watching.
This weekend they expect 1.5 million people to be on the highway as spectatora and drivers.
