MG TD TF 1500 - Brake pipe 3 way fitting
My failure to take more pictures during disassembly of my early 51 TD drives this plea for help. Where is the front 3 way brake fitting located and how is it oriented? There are a couple of holes in the front cross member on the left side. Which one is correct? Any other hints on brake pipe routing would be appreciated. Thanks, Tom |

Tom, There should be a hole in the flange portion of the cross member directly below the steering wheel shaft. (LHD car) The fitting is mounted parallel to the cross member, with the input pipe connected to the end opposite the mounting bolt. Let me know which pipes you are having trouble with and I'll be happy to take a couple of pictures for you. I copied my pipes from the originals. Good luck, Evan |

Evan, Thanks for the quick reply. Pictures would be a great help since there are two holes in the cross member and "below the steering wheel shaft" doesen't apply.I'm working on a bare frame at this time. Regards, Tom |

Pictures on the way. I found a couple of pictures I took when my chassis was bare. See if they help. Evan |
