MG TD TF 1500 - Bridget the Midget
Any body hear about this ???? Hope he comes to the east coast of the US http://bridgetthemidget.co.uk/route/ |

He was with us in Perth for a while. If he comes your way make sure to welcome him and invite him to your club meetings. his stories and pictures are fascinating. |

I can't believe he's driving up the west coast of the USA and isn't taking Pacific Coast highway. It's one of the great drives this planet has to offer! He's also skipping the mighty Sierra Nevada Mountains which are some of the most spectacular in the world. Instead his route takes him through endless, empty desert broken up by Las Vegas. I predict he will not enjoy that part oft he trip very much! |
Steve Simmons |
I spent the other night reading all the diary entries. What a trip! It is good to see that MG people the world over are kind and generous folks as we know them to be here. |
P.W. Lester |
Steve, Aren't you planning a TC trip of North America? At what stage is your planning? Cheers, Allen |
Allen Bachelder |
Yes, and we may have to push it a year or two. Still working on that! |
Steve Simmons |
For the rest of you. I was very proud of having driven US 50 across Nevada ("the loneliest road in America") in my B/GT, only to discover Steve did it only days in advance in his TC! He is now planning a US circle tour in the same TC. If you have any special roads to recommend, here's your chance. It appears that Steve is listening! Steve is now my role model; he needs our support (although he'll do it with out our support) so this is a good time to suggest great routes and TC-friendly homes. Cheers, Allen |
Allen Bachelder |
You're too kind Allen. You're also completely insane naming a nut job like me as your new role model. :) |
Steve Simmons |
Have not seen an update yet. Hope things are going well. |

Steve, One absolutly obligatory trip you MUST include is the "Tail of the Dragon". Gord Clark Rockburn, Qué. |
Gordon A. Clark |
Think he made it into the US at the week end. |
MGrogan |
Hi Gordon, I know it's a beautiful road and all, but oh for the traffic! Believe it or not, I have a road right in my backyard with more turns per miles than TOTD, and a few more about equal! If I pass through that way I'll probably drive up the hill just for the heck of it, and then move on to less populated roads. |
Steve Simmons |
There are many roads with lots of turns per mile. What makes TOTD special is the engineering. Every curve simply melts into the next with perfect camber transitions. I have driven many twisty roads, but I have never driven any so well engineered as TOTD. David "There is a reason the Windy City Miata Club does an annual pilgrimage to a road 600+ miles away" Lieb |

He is now in Texas. going west on I40 to N.M. then the Grand Canyon AZ. Good trip to ya. Hoped you would make it to Phoenix.. 150 miles south of I40. Check out his diary.. and PICs. |
MGrogan |
Could someone locate the TOTD for me. Thank you. George Raham TD 4224 |
