MG TD TF 1500 - Bronte - Oakville Ontario

This coming Sunday is the annual British Car Day at Bronte Conservation Park in Oakville, Ontario. (45 minutes from Buffalo NY off the QEW to Toronto).
Looks like the forecast is for good weather... usually 800 to 1000 cars!

Gord, I'll look for you there. My wife and I are new to this whole MG TD thing and look forward to taking a lot of pics and asking lots of questions.

I'm about as green in this whole area as is my car!!

Was the Sprite always produced in Abingdon, or was production moved on the second body style?

Between 1958 and 1979 a total of 355,888 Sprites and midgets was built, and in 1979, to mark the end of fifty-years of MG Midget production at Abingdon, the last 500 MG Midgets rolled off the production line all painted in black.

A really great show...not the sunny day promised by the weather people, but pleasant and no rain. The drive home was a bit cool, but still a great day... met a few members of the forum and lots of old friends..!!!! Didn't get a count, but more then the other years... had to be 1000 cars!!!!

Anything rearwards, i just hold over my head and shoot and pray... the others i just use the big viewing screen on the back of the camera... Am making up a spring clamp mount that can be put anywhere.... (will be much safer).

We just had the British Invasion in Stowe, VT over the week-end. Just a tad short of 700 cars and the weather cooperated.

Re your bracket for your camera, I saw recently, a sound-activated shutter release ... don't know if its adaptable for a digital camera though.
