MG TD TF 1500 - Chroming Small Parts
Recently found a cast-metal MGTD replica, about 9" long, badly in need of a total restoration. Grinding down a few rivets should allow the whole thing to come apart. The bumpers, grille, and headlamps are separate pieces. To make the finished model look like the real one in my garage, I'd like to get these pieces chromed. They all fit in the palm of my hand. Anyone know a place that can chrome such a small batch of tiny parts? Thanks |

Given that the old chrome must come off before new goes on, would there be anything left after de-chroming. Start looking for plan B. David #1. |
