MG TD TF 1500 - clutch & brake pedals plate
1954 mgtf Installing carpeting in drivers side floor. The retaining plate around the brake and clutch pedals is screwed through the fume excluder and into the carpet. Is it supposed to then be screwed into the floor? Thanks. |

"The retaining plate around the brake and clutch pedals is screwed through the fume excluder and into the carpet. Is it supposed to then be screwed into the floor? " - yes. Cheers - Dave |

Ed- I believe the excluder plate and rubber fume excluder should go under the carpet and screwed into the floor board. The carpet is then tucked under the last bellows of the excluder. Roy |

"For what it's worth I agree with Roy!" I do to - I missed the part about being screwed into the carpet, then into the floor. Cheers - Dave |
