MG TD TF 1500 - Doretti Badge Bar
Probably like a needle in a haystack, but I'm trying to find a TD Badge Bar made by Moretti in the 50's. The story is at http://www.home.earthlink.net/~budkrueger/BadgeBar.html. I'll try the Parts Wanted Section, but I've not had much luck there in the past. Any leads would be appreciated. Thanks. Bud |

I knew Moretti made steering wheels (as well as their delicous little Fiat-engined coupe and roadster), but not a badge bar. Good Luck Gord Clark Rockburn, Qué. |

Bud; I might suggest that you make one from readily available materials.Either way you will have to have it chrome plated.Thick walled 3/4" copper tubing and some brass plate welded to the ends will create just what you need.As you already have all the dimentions needed it should take no longer than 2-3 hours to create a masterpiece. Dorretti parts are extremely rare. I had for some time an owners handbook. It was gobled up in a trice by an eager dorretti owner. Sandy Sanders Hudson Florida |
