MG TD TF 1500 - E-bay no reserve TD
This one just came up. For someone who wants to get into a TD, this one has no reserve. Currently at $6000. Looks reasonable. Although I dont know about the snow tire spare. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MG-T-Series-TD-1953-MG-TD-Roadster-No-Reserve_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ31858QQihZ014QQitemZ330035489522QQrdZ1 |

Interesting carburettors too ! Genuine Mk II or later MGA items ? The chassis number doesn't indicate this being a Mk II though. Nick, 52TD/63midget/74MGB. |

What are those pipes pointing into the carb. bores?Could it be the "slightly" modified choke? |

Definitely not TD Mk2 carbs but could be TF or MGA. Hugh |

"Slightly modified choke" indeed !!!! They used the float chamber overflow pipes as an extra "fuel boost"...........8^) Very scientific modification. Wonder what else has been modified. Cheers, Nick. |
