MG TD TF 1500 - Ebay gas tank pic
The underneath of my gas tank connections don't look like what's in this pic. A little confusing looking to me. Greg & Grimm http://www.vehinet.com/ebay/08may05_13.jpg |

Greg & Grimm, The "two original emblems not included" refer to the emblems mounted on the badge bar in front of the radiator. Gene |

Greg, Looks to me like power side curtains. You are looking at the side curtain box. I would guess that the mounted a fuel pump at the rear? I haven't seen the rest of the ad |

I wonder how the seller of that TC plans to get the grill badge off after the sale. Maybe he thinks it just unsnaps? Have fun tearing the front end apart! LOL! |

Greg, I found the ad, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=4556351101&category=31858&sspagename=WDVW What bothers me about this car is that there was a good amount of money & time spent but... The phot of the side curtain box, I'd say this is a rear monted fuel pump and the ruber fuel line is tie wrapped to the copper one. The harness appears home built and they must have forgot one lead, red one poorly wrapped around the harness on the left side. But now if you look at the brake line "T", not even bolted to the rear housing but rather tie wrapped to the housing. The brake lines also run inside the check straps and are fastened with tie wraps. One more photo, the dash. No directional switch. directional indicator light replaced with a lighter, wrong headlight switch, water temp or oil gauge should be a combo. I'm not even going to mention the horn under the hood or the missing ID tag inside the tool box lid. Regards, Ron |

and don't overlook the bolt in the block over the ID tag where the block drain belongs. |
