MG TD TF 1500 - First run of '06
Well, a bit cold and wet but we had our first run (Brave Souls Run) up here today... Haven't gotten the rocker arm fixed yet, but went along anyway.... http://www.niagarabritishcarclub.org/bravesouls06/bravesouls06.html |

Great pics Gordon. Weather here today was about 80 degrees (farenhite). Bad news is I wasn't out driving the B but working on the house. Slipped off a step stool and landed on my elbow and hip on the concrete. Hips ok but the elbow, not so good. Big hole in the end that my wife has nursed the skin together. Worst part is listening to her I told you so's. May still have to see the doc as I can feel a little clicking going on inside. |

Hi Gordon, after looking at those pics I reckon I would fit right in with you lot. Same hairstyle or lack thereof as you guys. Cheers, Paul. |

Commerations LED, have you tried injection some SAE 30? |

Gordon, And true to Canadian Mg Club's, it always seems to start at a Tim Horton's SPW |

Gordon, we also had first club run in Holland yesterday and although a bit cool a great day until.............. at 15:30 it p*s*ed down, 1.5 hours drive home in pouring rain, but at least I confirmed that the leaks are still the same as last year and no more have appeared. In all a great day and it can only get better as summer approaches Clive |

Gordon, Who is the truly brave soul ridding the "white" one in pic "109"? (left side) Is that an old HD 45? Cheers, David 55 TF1500 #7427 |

Well done David... and who said we old geezer's eyes are bad... damn... wish I had taken a close up of it... Old harley with an SU carb(looked pretty large).... and he wasn't even a member of our club, just two guys getting together for a morning coffee. Speaking of which...our runs 'have' to start at a Timmy Ho's...thats all there is up here... two hundred waving Mounties and 12,000 Tim Horton's coffee shops... and don't laugh, they are starting to appear south of the border....!!!! |

Gordon, "TH" has a fairly good grip down here as well ....there's one across the street from nearly every Starbucks now! (or if you will ....1 for every 4 Macdonalds!) My old HD45 had a 1 1/2" single SU on it. Old 58 HD Panhead had the same. FYI, For those running "snelling" air cleaners your local Harley store has K&N filters for them! I run these on the TF and our TR. (have the "VOLKS" ...they are just so ugly!) Totally "off subject" but a good "eye-test"....take a look at : http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4633698213&indexURL=166#ebayphotohosting Last pic (2nd page of appraisal) "Cash Value" at bottom of it! $55k for a TR7? I want to sell this guy our 79DHC and the TF! Package deal....he can have both of them for around 1/4 a mil! Cheers, David 55 TF1500 #7427 |
