MG TD TF 1500 - Floor cover and brake bolt
I got the floors in today. Step by Step, the car is coming along.
I have a new cover for the master cylinder hole in the floor. It came with two round head screws, but the floor has two 1/4 inch holes that go all the way through on either side of the filler hole. What fasteners were used for the cover plate? Also, there is a fixed bolt hole on the back inner side of the brake/clutch pedal box. The thick rubber pad that goes over the box has a corresponding hole, but there is no hole in the floorboard. Should there be a hole in the floor? |

There are 2 bolts 1/4”, well screws that go into the pad, under the floorboard. One up front, one in the back. Peter |

Well, they are technically a screw, countersunk head 1/4” BSF |

So like the floorboard screws, but shorter? My kit came with a number of those. |
