MG TD TF 1500 - Follow Up

A month or so ago we had a thread going regarding an original low milage mgtf for sale locally in Florida. At the time I looked at the car for a friend of mine. He went to make an offer on it and was told that it had been sold to someone in Atlanta for around $19,500. Imagine my surprise when I was looking at e-bay yesterday and there was the car (or at least it certainly has all of the appearances the same car) for sale out of Orlando. At the time I said that it would clean up to be presentable and the photographs with the add certainly indicate that.

It looks like the car was actually sold to the dealer in Orlando and not Atlanta. With that in mind I wonder about the actual selling price quoted to my friend.
Just a social comment regarding tall tales one hears from time to time regarding automobila in general.
