MG TD TF 1500 - Front Shocks

Thank you all for your comments on the rear shocks. Since the arm popped out I had an easy opportunity to test it. Nice steady resistance in both directions and it stayed where I left it. The bushing was worn but not horrible so for now I have put a washer and cotter pin in to hold it. I will watch it and any more trouble the whole thing goes to Peter.

Is there a good test of the front shocks while they are still mounted?
