MG TD TF 1500 - Fuel cutoff?
Just occurred to me that had we not made sure the brakes on the TD were recently serviced and adjusted that we may well have hit the Expedition over the weekend and the fuel pump could likely have kept pumping petrol! If that is the case, what is the best way to have the pump cut off? Sheesh, first the overflow tubes and now the pump...am I paranoid about BBQ? LOL.... |

Unless you get into some fancy 'tilt/crash' cut off system, you are limited to reaching over and turning off the ignition switch. (If your consious and don't have a steering shaft stuck through your chest)? You can only go so far on a 1950's set of safety features! |

Just went looking thru Moss Motors catalog on-line and it seems there is some kind of fuel cut-off that works with "horizontal" impacts... Anyone have experience with this? |
