MG TD TF 1500 - Gear box oil change

Just hit the service manual required 6000mi oil change for the gearbox after rebuilding. (New synchros, a couple of gears, all bearings and seals)

I was surprised how muddy the oil looked. Appeared clear on the dipstick which contributed to my surprise. My advice is don’t overlook the service manual checks.

No; you'r right Tom. Even with 350,000 miles on my engine, I'm still on the original G/B, but I switched to Redline MT90 a few years ago, Made huge difference.

Highly recommended.
