MG TD TF 1500 - Heat Shield
Does anyone have a source for a heat shield that fits between carbs and exhaust manifold to prevent vapor lock? To fit mgtf XPAG engine. Seamus |

Brown & Gammons sells a heat shield that looks very well designed. http://www.ukmgparts.com/product.aspx?CID=fa7d90fa-a5e3-4200-8ef2-bfe88a81db74&SID=&PID=b6aee460-ae19-429d-b670-819b8d5496f8 Regards, Rich |

Seamus I bought the Brown and Gammons shield listed above last spring. It is well designed, easy to install and was about $40 including postage from the UK. I had it in a week. I highly recommend that one. Tom |

I am also trying to get a new-in-the-past-couple-of-years vapor lock problem under control. I plan on going the Jet Hot route and adding spacers to the carburetor, as shown in the attached picture. The spacers pictured can be purchased on eBay (Item number: 120434456654). I purchased my spacers from Joe Curto. Larry |
